Version Number:
New Tone Engine
Exposure, Contrast, Lights, Shadows, Whites and Blacks are rendered by a new engine — R3 v4 — and it's the new standard for every new edit.
Pushing a slider to the extreme does not flattens the image into strong white or black, and blown highlights or crushed shadows can be pulled back again. Recovered highlights keep their color, and lifted shadows keep their texture instead of looking washed out.
Your existing edits stay exactly as they are, and you can switch the version per image in Develop at any time.
Better Auto-Enhance
Auto-Enhance was rebuilt and is now much faster — and it reacts more consistent for different scenes.
This includes automatic white balance.
Improved Dehaze
Dehaze now removes more haze and restores colors.
Stacking, HDR & Panorama are free now
Combining images — HDR, median stacking and panorama stitching — is available to everyone.
